Inspiration
It all began one evening …
A group of passionate friends were discussing Thailand’s riches — an exotic country with alluring cultures and culinary delights. Thai cuisine is world famous for its savoury spices and explosion of tastes, of which came from the finest ingredients.
And it was drawn to them they could amalgamate the French art of traditional distillery to Thai natural treasures, and it would be the best of both worlds. Reminiscing 300 years of the French-Thai diplomatic history, the spirits conceived was named after Kosa Pan, one of the very first Siamese diplomats who led the embassy to France. After many researches and creative innovations later, the Kosapan Distillery is ready to make its mark.
Handcrafted
Premium spirits born of dedication.
We sustainably and ethically sourced our raw fruits and botanics from a handful of strictly selected organic growers in Thailand whose methods meet our standards and share the same ethos as us.
Everything is carefully handcrafted from the start to finish. From harvesting to peeling the fruits for mash and fermentation, the alcohol is then double or triple-distilled by hand in traditional French copper alembic stills and aged in limited batches. This French artisanal method is rarely practiced in modern manufacturing process due to its time-consuming nature however, we find, that it gives distinctly complex aroma and exceptionally delicate notes. Additionally, we are proud to say all Kosapan Distillery products are 100% natural without any additives.
Responsibility
Empowers and protects.
We strive to reduce impacts to the environment by minimizing the energy consumption and carbon footprint via design and innovative thinking. Water coolant during the distillation process is recycled and reused by way of water management system. And surplus from the refining process is given back to local growers as an organic raw material for fertilizer production.
Our growers are our partners, together we commit to a strong connection that respects fair trade and sustainable farming.
